Denmark central bank raises lending rate

STOCKHOLM, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Denmark's central bank raised its lending rate by 0.10 percentage points to 2.50 percent from 2.40 percent Friday, according to news reaching here from the Danish capital Copenhagen.

The measure goes into effect immediately. But the bank did not change the discount rate which is 2.25 percent.
