Room remains for solving Iranian nuclear issue within IAEA
framework, FM spokesman
BEIJING, March 28 (Xinhua) -- There is still room to solve the
Iranian nuclear standoff within the framework of the International
Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin
Gang said here Tuesday.
China, as always, holds that the international system of non-
proliferation of nuclear weapons should be safeguarded, and the
Iranian nuclear issue should be resolved through negotiations, Qin
said at a regular press conference.
As to the upcoming meeting of foreign ministers from Britain,
France, Germany, the United States, Russia and China, Qin told
