UN Security Council to consider Iranian nuclear issue Wednesday

UNITED NATIONS, May 2 (Xinhua) -- The UN Security Council will begin Wednesday considering Iran's refusal to suspend uranium enrichment activities as demanded by the UN organ in late March.

"We'll be looking at it tomorrow and we'll see what action needs to be taken," council president for May, Ambassador Basile Ikouebe of the Republic of Congo, told a news briefing Tuesday, referring to the latest report presented by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
