Zambian gov't urged to rectify wheat flour import duty anomalies

LUSAKA, May 10 (Xinhua) -- The Zambia National Farmers Union ( ZNFU) and the Miller Association of Zambia (MAZ) have called for the rectification of wheat flour import duty anomalies to protect local industry and employment opportunities, Times of Zambia reported Wednesday.

The two organizations said in a statement issued on Tuesday that Zambian wheat and milling sectors are under threat from imported flour.
