Zimbabwean government committed to eliminating child labor

HARARE, May 9 (Xinhua) -- The Zimbabwean government is committed to fighting child labor which is on the increase due to the rising number of vulnerable children orphaned by HIV/Aids.

Speaking on Tuesday at the launch of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Global Report on Child Labor, Public Service, Labor and Social Welfare, permanent secretary Lance Museka said, " the government of Zimbabwe absolutely shares the sentiments outlined in the Convection on the Elimination of Child Labor."
