Update-Lebanese troops heading to south Lebanon for deployment

BEIRUT, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese troops are on their way to south Lebanon early on Thursday to deploy near the border with Israel in line with a UN resolution, according to a CNN report.

Trucks, armored troop carriers and jeeps are on the move toward the Litani River, about 30 km from the Israeli border, from several points.
