Two bodyguards of Iraqi parliament speaker killed, wounded by gunmen in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- Unknown gunmen attacked a car carrying two bodyguards of Iraqi parliament speaker in northern Baghdad on Wednesday, killing one and wounding another, an Interior Ministry source told Xinhua.

"Unidentified armed men showered a car with bullets at 1:45 p.m. (10:45 GMT) on the main road in Baghdad's Kadhmiyah neighborhood," the source said on condition of anonymity.
