China's top trade union leader calls for closer cooperation among trade unions in world

BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- China's top trade union leader Wang Zhaoguo said here Thursday the trade unions of all countries should strengthen cooperation to better protect the legitimate rights of working people.

Wang, president of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, made the remark in a meeting with visiting President of Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation Jean-Claude Reding.

Wang said as the economic globalization is still going on and the world working people face many common problems, the world trade unions should strengthen cooperation.
