Helen Strecker collects only red shoes. It started as a joke back
when she turned 40, when her sons bought her a pair of red high-top
sneakers to cheer her up. Now, it's more than 150 pairs of red shoes.
Cheryl Moore says she has more than 350 pairs of shoes -- so many,
in fact, she has to keep some at a storage warehouse in Indiana.
When Tamara Johnson-Draper visits Nordstrom at Old Orchard, she
says she enters the store away from the shoe department because "I
swear they call my name."
