Morocco Telecom's turnover registers 10 percent increase last year
RABAT, March 2 (Xinhua) -- Morocco Telecom, the country's leader
in the telecom sector, has achieved an overall turnover of 22.62
billion dirhams (2.66 billion U.S. dollars) in 2006, an increase of
10.1 percent compared to that in 2005, the group announced on Friday.
The group's operational income stood at 10.04 billion dirhams (
1.18 billion dollars) in 2006, an increase of 15.7 percent compared
to that of the previous year, thanks to a combined effect of
increased turnover and the control of acquisition.
The operational income for the mobile sector reached 6.9 billion
