Chadian president in Libya for "signing" agreement with rebels

N'DJAMENA, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Chadian president Idriss Deby Itno arrived Thursday in the Libyan capital of Tripoli for the "officially signing ceremony" of the peace agreement concluded on Oct. 3 with the four main rebel groups in eastern Chad, according to a statement issued by Chadian president's office.

Rebel representatives arrived in Libya on Tuesday, while othershave played down the agreement brokered by Libyan leader Muammar Gadaffi.
