Three crew members of ship recaptured off Somali coast injured

NAIROBI, Oct. 31 (Xinhua) -- Three crew members of a DemocraticPeople's Republic of Korea (DPRK) vessel, which has been hijacked then recaptured off the Somali coast, were injured while two Somali gunmen were killed during the incident, a Kenyan maritime official said on Wednesday.

Andrew Mwangura, the program coordinator of the East Africa Seafarers Assistance Program (SAP), said DIA HONGA DAN, with its 22 crew members from Southeastern Asian nations, is sailing under escort of a U.S. Naval ship.

"The ship is sailing towards the district town of Cadale, some 130 km north of Mogadishu with some casualties onboard," Mwangura said ...
