REDLANDS - As part of the One City, One Book program, "The Kite
Runner" movie is coming to the Krikorian Theater Tuesday, Wednesday
and Thursday.
The film is being presented courtesy of the Margaret Clark Art
Education Endowment Fund of the Redlands Art Association, as part of
their spring 2008 series.
"Over the three screenings, I am hoping that several hundred
people will see the film," said Leela MadhavaRau, Assistant Dean of
Student Life and Director of Diversity Affairs. "We are using the
film screenings as the kick-off for the book discussions."
"The Kite Runner" is set in Kabul, Afghanistan, in 1978. It
focuses on two boys, one being the son of a servant. The ...
