Phnom Penh Empire Football Club wins Hun Sen Cup

PHNOM PENH, April 6 (Xinhua) -- The Phnom Penh Empire Football Club won the Hun Sen Cup 2008 here on Sunday and received 15,000 U.S. dollars of cash prize from the organizer.

Meanwhile, Phnom Penh governor Kep Chup Tema awarded the club 2,500 dollars in extra to highlight its 1-0 victory over the Royal Sword Football Club from Ministry of Interior at the National Olympic Stadium.

The Royal Sword Football Club received 10,000 dollars of cash prize from the organizer and also 2,500 dollars of extra bonus from the governor.

The third-place Build Bright University Football Club won 5,000 dollars of cash prize.
