ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., April 8, 2008 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- New study results released today by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) show the top procedures performed by dermasurgeons are skin cancer repair and reconstruction surgeries.

According to the 2007 Procedure Survey conducted among 3,176 ASDS members, the top five procedures performed by ASDS dermasurgeons were:

-- Skin Cancer Repair and Reconstruction - 2,855,446/year

-- Laser and Light Treatment - 1,359,308/year

-- Botox(R) Injection - 1,323,110/year

-- Soft Tissue Filler Injection - 1,041,802/year
