The biggest stage may belong to college basketball players this time of year, but water lovers in the Bay Area got their fix at a sparkling pool tucked just beyond Stanford's Maples Pavilion last week.

The stars came out to play at the Stanford Invitational swim meet. From Brazilian relay magic to chatter of a new Speedo suit that is all the rage, here are some snippets from the weekend to hold us over until the Santa Clara Grand Prix begins May 15:
