YAKIMA -- Amanda Reed had three hits in the first game and Maria
Martinez collected three in the second, but Yakima Valley dropped a
6-4, 9-3 Eastern Region fastpitch doubleheader to Wenatchee Valley
on Tuesday at Dunbar Field.
The losses dropped YVCC to 5-9 in region play and 10-16 overall.
Former Selah standout Rachael Glaspie pitched the first three
innings of the second game for the Knights, who are ranked third in
the NWAACC and improved to 12-2 in region play and 26-4 overall.
The Yaks continue their season Friday at Big Bend.
