Awards Ceremony Is Prelude to National Crime Victims Rights Week

WASHINGTON, April 11 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- As part of its 28th annual observance of National Crime Victims Rights Week, April 13-19, the Department of Justice today honored the nine recipients of this years National Crime Victims Rights Week Awards. The awards program, which is coordinated by the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC), a component of the Departments Office of Justice Programs (OJP), recognizes the work of individuals and organizations that have helped victims rebuild their lives.
