Gaza gas union warns of humanitarian crisis due to fuel shortage

GAZA, April 10 (Xinhua) -- Gaza gas stations union chief Mahmoud al-Khazendar warned Thursday that Gaza Strip enclave is on the edge of a serious humanitarian crisis after Israel closed the key fuel crossing of Nahal Ozz.

"The fuel crisis has been getting worse and worse, and with the closure of Nahal Ozz fuel crossing today, Gaza Strip will have the worst ever crisis if the crossing closure continues until next week," said al-Khazendar.
