Argyle boss Paul Sturrock was denied a winning return to
Sheffield Wednesday by a spectacular late equaliser.
Sturrock had a two-year stint as the Owls' manager before parting
company with the South Yorkshire club in November 2006.
And last night was the first time Sturrock had been back to
Hillsborough.
Argyle, chasing the win they needed to stay in play-off
contention, took the lead in only the second minute.
Hungarian international Peter Halmosi scored with a deflected
free-kick to put the Pilgrims ahead.
But Sheffield Wednesday went on to create a series of chances and
they eventually drew level on 81 minutes.
Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick had been in fine form, but he
