Pakistan ready for Beijing Olympic Torch Relay
ISLAMABAD, April 14 (Xinhua) -- All arrangements are in place for
Beijing Olympic torch relay in Pakistan, President of Pakistan
Olympic Association (POA) Syed Arif Hasan Monday said at a news
briefing here.
Addressing reporters at the Jinnah Sports Complex here, Hasan
said Pakistan had made all necessary preparations to make the
Beijing Olympic torch relay in Islamabad a success.
Hasan disclosed the procedure of the torch relay which was
scheduled to be held on Wednesday. "We are going to receive the
torch on the morning of April 16," Hasan said, "the proceeding will
