Article: Off THE RECORD: ; Biscuit basking in media exposure

I'd like to thank those who commented on my column about Biscuit, the loveable Lab who hangs around Billo's gas station and convenience store at Chelyan [see the Metro editions that came out the week beginning March 31].

No response as yet from the Clinton campaign, however.

But at least one reader didn't care for my flight of fancy about Biscuit and Bill Clinton. A woman who didn't identify herself left me a voice mail calling my piece one of the most "beautifully stupid" things she ever read about President Clinton.

While not meant as a compliment, I rather liked her turn of phrase.
