An electrician working on the revamp of a West manor house owned
by artist Damien Hirst has been given the boot after publicly
discussing the pounds10 million project.
Mark Curtis was employed by an agency to work on the restoration
of the Grade I-listed Toddington Manor in Gloucestershire, that is
expected to be the Bristol-born artist's family home.
Mr Curtis was working in a corridor of the house when a
colleague found writing from a 19th century plasterer - "Jas
