A 71-year-old former donkey sanctuary owner has been found guilty
of 26 counts of sexual abuse of young girls working for him.
Alan Masters preyed on the girls aged from 10 to 16 who had come
to help care for the animals.
Police condemned Masters' behaviour as "despicable acts of
indecency at the hands of someone in a position of trust".
Masters was found guilty by majority verdicts on 16 counts of
indecent assault, three of indecency with a child, four of sexual
activity with a child and three of sexual assault. He was found not
guilty of three counts of indecent assault and one of indecency with
a child.
