Vietnam's state farms to be inspected

HANOI, April 17 (Xinhua) -- Agricultural and forestry farms across Vietnam will undergo inspection, following concerns over inefficient management of land at state farms, local newspaper Vietnam News reported Thursday.

One of land-use related problems is the illegal renting and borrowing of 7,700 hectares of state-run farms, out of a total of about five million hectares under state management, which has left many residents lacking land for production, the newspaper said.
