Menomonee Falls -- As it stands now, the former Falls Inn at Main
St. and Highway 41/45 can't be called much more than a blemish on
the landscape.
The building is vacant.
Part of its sign is missing.
The place looks in disrepair.
The tired structure doesn't leave a good impression with those
entering Menomonee Falls along a main gateway into the village.
But a metamorphosis is under way and, by the end of a year, the
Falls Inn building will be transformed into a new, upscale hotel and
restaurant.
Now Falls officials are hoping that the redevelopment of the
hotel property and a companion project to build 82 condominiums at
Main St. and Fond du Lac Ave. will be the triggers that lead to the ...
