The Ashes made light of having to play the last 61 minutes of
this game at Kimberley Stadium with 10 men to record the victory
that sets up Wednesday's vital championship clash away at league
leaders Bodmin Town.
Saltash United...3 Dartmouth...1
The joy of this victory was slightly tempered when the news
filtered through of Bodmin's late revival at Newton Abbot Spurs
where they came from behind to win 2-1.
The Priory Park outfit hold a four-point advantage over Saltash
with both teams having four games to play leaving victory on
Wednesday a must if the Ashes are to maintain their title ambitions.
