Ukraine to raise interest rate to 12 percent
KIEV, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine will raise its base interest
rate to an annual 12 percent from 10 percent on April 30, the
country's National Bank Deputy Governor Anatoliy Shapovalov said on
Monday.
"The National Bank is worried about the fact that inflation
remains at a very high level despite all the measures taken.
