Every person in town is being called on to put the "Great" back
into Grimsby.
Grimsby In Bloom chairman Ernie Brown has issued the rallying
call to every man, woman and child - and wants to know your ideas or
suggestions.
Mr Brown and other members of the Grimsby In Bloom team will be
at Freshney Place shopping centre all day on Saturday to seek the
views of the Grimsby public.
He said: "I'll have a pen and a notepad ready and, if you have
any ideas, please come over and tell us."
Mr Brown said anyone can get involved, regardless of whether they
have greenfingers or not.
Many competitions are being set up for people to take part in,
including a race to grow the heaviest pumkin.
