When Tony Gwynn Jr. was put on the disabled list and sent to Class AAA Nashville for a rehabilitation assignment, his flight plans went perfectly.

No delays. No fuss. Got him to the minor-leagues as scheduled.

Now getting back? That was a different story.

"Leaving (Albuquerque, N.M.), the flight was late," Gwynn said. "When I got to Chicago, my flight (to Milwaukee) was late.

"When you go down, they get you there as quick as possible. When you come back, they take their time. It's like they know you can't wait to come back."
