Subcommittee set up to deal with jail overcrowding in L.A.

LOS ANGELES, April 23 (Xinhua) -- Los Angeles officials have formed a new subcommittee tasked with solving the overcrowded conditions that plague jails in the area, a statement said Wednesday.
