Article: Family takes complaint over power pole to PUC

LAKEWOOD - For the last few weeks, people have been driving by Shelby and William Ranson's house.

Some slowly motor past, sticking their heads out of car windows to stare at the 93-foot electric power pole in front of the home at the corner of Centralia Street and Palo Verde Avenue. A handful have been vocal.

If Southern California Edison crew members are nearby, they get yelled at to take the pole down, Shelby Ranson said this week.

"I think if SCE would have notified residents first, people wouldn't have let them (install the pole), and now this is a mess," Shelby said.
