Faulty 911 Directions Create A Stir In Little Britain

Getting emergency vehicles to the correct address has become a major concern in Little Britain Township.

In February and again in March, Wakefield Ambulance's response to a call from the Wagner residence at 2313 Ashville Road was slowed because the ambulance was given bad directions thanks to incorrect information in the dispatch center's computer system.

In the wake of the incidents, members of the Wagner family appeared at the April 8 township meeting to ask why they had been told the problem was corrected only to have it happen a second time.
