NEW YORK
BRITISH AIRWAYS is launching twice-daily business class-only
flights from London City Airport to New York next year a coup for
the airport, with its location close to London's business community
which will rival business airline Silverjet, which flies from Luton
to New York and Dubai.
The first scheduled transatlantic flights from the airport will
operate on an Airbus A318 with 32 seats on board. London City
Airport will offer a 15-minute check-in for customers in both London
and New York. Flat beds will be part of the expected business-class
experience among other yet-to-be-revealed luxuries.
