PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. - When he works his way around the
Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, Sean O'Hair sees himself winning The
Players Championship. He does not see the heartache of the island
green 17th that crushed his hopes one year ago.
"I like the layout. It fits my eye. I don't feel like it's
uncomfortable for me," said O'Hair on the eve of today's opening
round.
Get that, he's comfortable here. He's not haunted. Sure, he hit
two balls into the water at the 71st hole that pretty much cost him
$747,000 as he plummeted from second place to 11th, but that was
last year and O'Hair has brushed aside the negatives and focused on
only the positives.
"I played really well ...
