Losing weight seems like an insurmountable task for many people.
In last week's column I outlined some common mistakes made with diet
and exercise that can stifle weight-loss goals. Here are a few
others:
Approaching weight loss
with the wrong attitude.
Does the thought of following a healthy lifestyle feel more like
a chore than a gift to yourself? With the right approach, making the
decision to get into the best shape of your life should be exciting
and energizing. If exercise and adhering to a healthy diet are
perceived as drudgery, no matter how many times you try to force
yourself into sticking to your plan, in the end, you are likely to
find ways to justify going back to old habits.
