In America, the government is supposed to represent the will of
the people. Our democracy is precious. If anyone, or any institution
had the power to undermine it, that would be a terrible thing.
But someone does have that power, and that's the Supreme Court.
Fortunately, Sen. John McCain wants to do something about it - and I
plan to help him.
Lancaster County epitomizes the values and traditions that made
America great. Mennonites, Amish and Huguenots fled Europe seeking
to live and worship here in freedom. They were followed by others
from many other places. This is the American story.
The values that our forebears brought with them are the
