Derbyshire schoolchildren have been taking part in a review
writing contest for a chance to see their work printed in Qt.
The writing contest started when Paula Marris, an independent
drama consultant, wrote a play and a book based on true events in
The Second World War.
It was inspired by the real diary of a girl called Betty Lavender
who was 14 when the war started.
Derby schools took part in rehearsing and performing the play -
St James Junior, Homefields Primary, Parkview ...
