Bobsleighs, huskies and breathtaking scenery. JENNIFER SYM braves
the cold to ski the majestic Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada.
There's cold, there's very cold - and then there's Alberta in
January. In order to ski in the spectacular beauty of the Rockies,
enjoy the novel charm of dog sledding, or even sample the Olympic
bobsleigh, you have to be prepared for it to be more than a little
chilly.
We really don't know the meaning of cold in the British Isles;
here drooping ice gathers on top of lamp posts, 4x4s become a
practical need rather than a stylish accessory and, with four layers
of clothing de rigeur, any sense of winter fashion has to be left
behind.
My damp hair froze into little ...
