A physics professor from the University of Exeter has been
appointed to the council of Britain's largest funding body for
engineering and physical sciences.
Professor Roy Sambles was officially appointed as a council
member of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council
(EPSRC) by the Minister for Science and Innovation, Ian Pearson.
He is one of only three people to receive the accolade this year
and will remain on the board until spring 2011.
