And after visiting the college - the main choice for Exeter school-leavers looking to continue their studies - a team from Ofsted said in today's report that they thought it would improve even further.

They say they believe its effectiveness, achievement and standards, quality of courses and leadership and management are all good.

And they say the college's curriculum is "broad and inclusive".

The inspectors said: 'Learners are motivated, attentive and participate well in lessons, which enable them to make good progress and achieve well'.
