The Wild West is coming to Louth in a sharp-shooting musical.
Irving Berlin's classic hit Annie Get Your Gun promises to be
another wonderful family spectacular crammed with familiar songs,
great dancing, superb costumes and a fabulous set at the Riverhead
Theatre.
But it's a special milestone for Louth Playgoers' chairman, John
Lill, who is hanging up his spurs as director of the annual musical
after almost half a century to devote more time to other areas of
the theatre.
It's fitting that the part of Annie played by his wife and fellow
Playgoer, Maureen in 1982, is being filled by his daughter Pippa
Molloy this time around.
