A MUM-OF-TWO has been found dead after suffering an asthma attack while out walking a dog near a Llanelli water attraction.

The body of 47-year-old Angela Evans was discovered by Dafen Pond on Sunday night.

It is understood Mrs Evans, of Heol Gwyr, Penyfan, had been walking her friend's dog when the asthma attack came on.

She managed to make a 999 call when she realised what was happening, but ambulance control bosses say, even though help was on scene within three minutes, they struggled to locate her as they mounted a desperate search of the area.

Her mobile signal was lost and they couldn't return her call.
