The White Sox haven't been swept in a series this season, nor have
opponents had much success at U.S. Cellular Field.
Should it happen today when the Boston Red Sox send All-Star-
snubbed ace Curt Schilling to the mound against White Sox All-Star
ace Jose Contreras, the White Sox say it wouldn't be the end of the
world.
But it wouldn't leave a very good taste for the defending
champions as they head into the All-Star break.
"If we get swept, I guess we'll need the whole All-Star break to
put ourselves back together," first baseman Paul Konerko, one of the
