DENVER (HedgeWorld.com) - ALPS Fund Services Inc., a 23-year-old
mutual fund accounting and administration firm, this week acquired
Bellevue, Wash.-based hedge fund administration firm Price Meadows
Inc. in an effort to bolster ALPS' new hedge fund administration
business.
The new administration entity is called ALPS Price Meadows and
will operate as a division of ALPS Fund Services, based in Denver.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Price Meadows Inc., founded in 1987 and headed by former hedge
fund managers Kelley Price and Rick Meadows, oversees about $6
billion in hedge fund assets across approximately 200 funds. ALPS,
