It's arguably the best Class AAA section in District Three softball, with the past two champions - Donegal and Lampeter- Strasburg - calling Section Three home.

The Section Three regular season is usually a preview of one or two matchups in the Class AAA District Three tournament, and offers playoff-caliber experience early in the season.

Section Three foes Donegal and Manheim Central met for the third time this season Thursday afternoon at Garrett Park in the District Three Class AAA quarterfinals.

Tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning, Olivia Lehman beat a throw home at the plate to give the Indians (20-3) their third straight win over the Barons (16-6), 2-1.
