James Dobson usually isn't mentioned in the same breath as Howard
Stern, but the founder of Focus on the Family and the Sirius
satellite-radio shock jock have something in common.
"Focus on the Family," the nationally syndicated radio show
hosted by Dobson, has been nominated for induction into the National
Radio Hall of Fame in a category that recognizes broadcasters who
have made at least a 20-year contribution to the radio industry.
Also nominated in the same category are Stern, sports broadcaster
Bob Costas and conservative talkshow host Laura Schlessinger, aka
Dr. Laura.
