PONTIAC - Livingston County and some area communities may join
together as a large online presence after the Livingston County
Board approved becoming a part of a free, interconnected Web site.
Pontiac Mayor Scott McCoy, also president of software development
firm McCoy Corp., presented the board with information regarding
OneOnlineCommunity, a Web site system his company designed to
connect communities together.
"The concept is to allow every entity to have their own identity
or online presence as well as communicating with the other entities
in the community," McCoy said. "All Web sites on the Internet pretty
much sit out there by themselves ... ...
