Article: Teenager Flo flies down Cooper's hill for double Gloucester glory

Teenager Flo Early was true to her name in picking up a prized Double Gloucester at the annual cheese rolling event.

The 17-year-old, from Painswick, won the women's downhill race at the spectacle, which took place at Cooper's Hill on Monday.

Thousands turned out for the event despite adverse weather conditions, which made the hill - which varies between a 1:2 and 1:3 gradient - treacherous for competitors.

But the student said she was thrilled and already setting her sites on next year's competition.
