The St. Albans Historical Society will open the William P.
Burdette Historical Society building, 404 Fourth Ave. St. Albans,
adjacent to the St. Albans train depot, for the summer.
Hundreds of vintage photos, books, artifacts and stories about
the St. Albans area and its history will be available for viewing
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each Saturday from June 7 through the end of
August.
Admission is free and open to the public.
At the location, the historical society has seven different
historical books for sale about the St. Albans area at $5 each. A 40-
minute DVD is also available showing the history of St. Albans from
the Native Americans through the 1950s with narration and hundreds
